Installation Instructions - Gravel Surface
Stage OneIf the ground to be improved is soft or prone to retaining water then digout to a minimum depth of 150mm. If the area is compressed and does not retain water dig to a minimum depth of 50mm. Stage TwoLay a good quality porous membrane across the entire area for weed control purposes. Stage ThreeFor soft ground, first lay hardcore followed by a layer of fine, or pea gravel leaving a minimum of 50mm to the proposed new level. Stage FourLay Eco-Ground onto prepared surface pushing interlocking plastic tiles together with a click. Use a saw to trim edges to match your outline. Stage FiveOnce EcoGround tiles are laid over entire area fill cells with medium, fine or pea gravel up to the top and rake over for level distribution. Tread in to compress infill or use a roller. Add additional infill if required. Job done! |

Stage ThreeFor soft ground, first lay hardcore followed by a layer of fine, or pea gravel leaving a minimum of 50mm to the proposed new level. Stage FourLay Eco-Ground onto prepared surface pushing interlocking plastic tiles together with a click. Use a saw to trim edges to match your outline. Stage FiveOnce EcoGround tiles are laid over entire area fill cells with a 50-50 mixture of sand and compost up to the top and rake over for level distribution. Tread in to compress infill or use a roller. Add additional infill if required. Apply grass seed to prepared area. Water well until established. Job done! |
