Watling Street Consultancy Ltd has been created by Bob McKenzie a Logistics Professional with over 30 years experience in setting up warehouse and distribution operations in customer focused FMCG industries.

Some Background Information

Bob McKenzie has worked for the Autobar Group for 26 years as Regional Operations Manager and later, Logistics Director across the U.K.

He has regularly, and successfully, devised, implemented and managed operational budgets of up to £7m across multi site operations and controlled a multi drop fleet of up to 80 vehicles developing distribution schedules to achieve 48 hr delivery from receipt of order across 14,000 SKU's.

In addition he has set up and managed a 120k sq ft NDC with 24/7 operation, received commendations from customers for level of service, and has been the author of a Risk Assessment and full Safe Systems of Work procedure for Warehouse Operations.
